Pegasus now has a fully accessible program space, located at Danforth Ave. and Warden Ave. in Scarborough!
With this new location, we will be able to provide more hours for programming, allowing us to better support our community and participants.
Stay tuned for exciting updates for our programs and participants, and read all about our journey below.
Pegasus has always dreamed of having our own space, and now that dream has finally come true! It has been two long years of determination, perseverance, and construction, and we can now finally open our doors.
This journey has been so much more than paint on the walls – it’s been creating a place where we can run fully accessible programming, and where our community members can feel welcome and included. Our washroom is fully accessible, and our kitchen is open-concept so that the group can be together while cooking.
We have a wish list of items for in-kind donations that we’re looking for to make this space comfortable and functional for our programs. Please contact Paula for more information or to make a donation.
Wish List for Phoenix:
We will have a feature wall displaying bricks engraved with the names of donors and financial supporters. The wall will be a permanent fixture in the space to showcase all the love and support we have received. We are so excited about this opportunity and what new services we will be able to provide in the future.
Bricks come in a variety of sizes – 4″x8″, 8″x8″ and 12″x12″. They will be added as a permanent fixture in our Phoenix location.
Help support Pegasus by purchasing an engraved brick! Add your name to the display wall, and truly make a difference. All contributions will help us to make this space our own.
